2020 Nutcracker Volunteer Sign Up

How can you help with the 2020 Nutcracker Production?  While we will not be needing many of our traditional volunteers this year, we are in search of some help for the following jobs – mostly during the week of filming and dress rehearsals.  Thank you in advance for making this production possible!
Please review the job descriptions and then click on the sign up genius link located at the bottom of this email to sign up.  If you are signing up for a costume job, please make sure you click on the slot labeled with your dancer’s ensemble or ballet company name.  If you have already volunteered for a job – narrator, prop transport on 10/31, videographer, Stahlbaums, etc. – no need to volunteer again.
Seamstress:  Assist Christine and Cathy with some simple sewing projects with your own sewing machine or hand sewn.
Prop Transport: Assist Nicole Yuen in loading and transporting the props from CAPA back to the storage unit in Rheem on Saturday 12/12 from 10am-12pm.
Photographers: Take Photos during dress rehearsals on 11/29 and 11/30 in studio and/or outdoors and post online for CAPA families
Costume Tagging: One volunteer from each ensemble and ballet company to label costumes.
Costume Tagging, Featured Roles: Label Special Role Costumes (Queens, Clara, Fritz, Doll, Cat, Jester, etc.)
Costume Transport: One volunteer from each ensemble and ballet company to bring down the costumes from upstairs and make sure all costume pieces are returned to the rack (one person needed for rehearsal day and one person needed for filming day).
Pop Up Tents: Looking for a few families to lend us a pop up tent to use in the parking lot on both weekends
Pop Up Tent Set Up: Volunteers to help set up the pop up tents on both weekends
Day of Volunteers for Rehearsals and Filming Days: Looking for extra hands to be on set for rehearsal days and filming days to help with anything that might pop up – moving props and scenery, passing out props, helping out with music, helping with the kids when needed, wiping down props and dressing rooms in between cohort groups, etc.  All days can be broken into a few shifts so that you do not need to be there all day or all afternoon.  We will coordinate with you for a preferable time.
Studio/Dressing Room Set Up: Help cover studio windows to use as dressing rooms and help set up Studio A for filming on the morning of November 29th.
Steamers: Help Steam Costumes any day before Dress Rehearsals.
