For more than 44 years, the California Academy of Performing Arts (CAPA), has trained thousands of dancers in the art of dance and performing.
CAPA students who make performing their passion have joined many of the top professional dance companies in the US and abroad, as well as on the Broadway stage and on television and commercials. Many have excelled in music and theater as well. Our students gain admission to the top universities and colleges in the country.

CAPA is committed to keeping our students and staff as safe as possible. We continue to monitor and follow all of the County and CDC Guidelines as updated. Our studios are professionally cleaned. Masks can be worn but not required for all ages, and we recommend hand sanitizer/washing before and after every class. We request that parents and caregivers are sensitive to minimizing lobby occupancy. If your dancer is sick, communicate via email with the office and please keep them home until they are better - thank you!
The life skills that all our students learn at CAPA - commitment, dedication, teamwork, an incredible work ethic and time management - will be with them their whole lives, and the friendships they form with their dance mates last decades after they have graduated.
At CAPA, we stress the process before the product, in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment all while providing professional-level training in multiple dance styles.
